Consulting Activities
Michael and Maureen Kraten founded Enterprise Management Corporation (EMC) in 1995 to serve as a corporate home for their professional consulting and other business activities.
Their primary strategic advantage is their ability to identify, translate, and apply various concepts and techniques from the academic arena in a manner that facilitates their use in the business environment, and to incorporate their practical knowledge of business into their academic endeavors.
They define EMC as an entrepreneurial consulting practice that is dedicated to the mission of: (a) educating current and future business leaders in the application of scientific management principles, (b) researching theories and policies that lead to the identification of optimal management strategies, and (c) developing organizational capabilities for implementing superior processes and measuring results.
They have advised, consulted, and trained executives, managers, and staff personnel of Fortune 100 firms, start-up entrepreneurial businesses, nonprofit organizations, and national and regional governmental regulators about a wide variety of strategic, financial, and operational practices.
